Mobile brake repair, in your driveway
Squealing, grinding, or a pedal that doesn't feel right. We come to your home or office and replace pads and rotors using quality parts sized for your vehicle.

When you need brake repair
It usually starts as a sound. A high-pitched squeal as you pull up at the lights, or a grinding when you brake harder than usual. Sometimes the pedal feels a little softer than it used to. Sometimes the car pulls to one side under braking, or a dash light comes on. Any of these mean it is time to get the brakes checked.
Brakes are the one part of the car where leaving it gets exponentially more expensive. New pads on worn rotors saves nothing, because the rotors chew through the new pads in months. Worn pads damage rotors. Worn rotors damage calipers. By the time the pedal is travelling near the floor, you are looking at a complete corner overhaul that costs three times what a routine pad replacement would have.
What's included
A standard front brake job from us includes:
- Removal of the wheels and a full inspection of the brake hardware
- OEM or quality aftermarket brake pads, sized and graded for your vehicle.
- New rotors when they are out of spec. We measure with a micrometer rather than guessing.
- Caliper inspection, slide-pin clean and re-grease
- Brake fluid top-up
- A road test in your area to bed the new pads in and verify pedal feel
If we find anything else worth flagging during the job (a leaking caliper, a worn flexible hose, a stuck slide pin), we stop and call you with a fixed quote before doing extra work. Nothing gets added to the bill without your agreement.
How mobile brake repair works
1. Book it. Call 0451 159 954, or send us your details through the quote form. We ask for the make, model, year, the symptoms you are hearing, and your suburb.
2. Get a price. We send you a fixed quote during business hours. The quote is the price you pay, even if the job takes longer than we thought.
3. We come to you. Pick a time. We turn up with the parts, jack stands, torque wrench and a fully-stocked van. Most front brake jobs are finished in two to three hours. We text you when we are done.
What it costs
We quote a fixed price in writing before any work begins, based on your specific make, model and the actual job. Call us with the details and we will give you a real number on the spot.
Routine servicing in Brisbane typically ranges from $188 to $449 as a general market guide, depending on whether it is a minor or major service and the size of the vehicle, before any extra repairs. See how our pricing works for more.
Why customers pick us for brake repair
We do brake jobs across South East Queensland every week. The reasons people come back:
- Real parts. OEM or quality aftermarket parts, picked for your vehicle. Never the bargain-bin pads that squeal in the rain and dust your alloys in a fortnight.
- Real prices. What we quote is what we charge. If a dealership has quoted you a price and you want a second opinion, we will give you one.
- Real warranty. Workmanship warranty per our terms on every brake job. If anything fails on our work, we come back and fix it at no cost.

What customers ask about brake repair.
How much does a brake job cost in Brisbane?
Pricing varies by vehicle, brake type and parts grade. We quote a fixed price upfront once we know your make, model and what needs doing — pads, pads-and-rotors, or a full overhaul including calipers. Call us with the details and we come back with the exact figure during business hours.
How long do brake pads last?
Most pads last between 40,000 and 70,000 km, but driving style and route make a big difference. Hilly suburbs and stop-start traffic shorten pad life. Highway-heavy driving makes them last longer. If they are squealing, your dash light is on, or the pedal feels low, get them checked.
Can a mobile mechanic really do brakes properly at home?
Yes. Our van carries proper jack stands, a torque wrench, brake-line clean-up gear and the right parts on board. The work is identical to what a workshop would do, just in your driveway. The only thing we will not do on-site is a brake-line flare or full caliper rebuild, which is rare on modern vehicles.
Do you replace pads only, or pads and rotors together?
We replace pads only when the rotors are still within spec and have plenty of life. We replace both when the rotors are scored, warped or near minimum thickness, which is the more common scenario after 60,000 km or a second pad change. We measure the rotors with a micrometer before we recommend replacement.
What parts brands do you use?
Bosch, Bendix and Brembo, depending on your vehicle. We do not fit the cheapest pad available because they squeal, dust badly and wear too fast in Queensland heat. The Bendix Ultimate range is our most common choice for daily-driven sedans and SUVs.
Do you cover my suburb?
